Roof Replacement Case Studies: Roof Replacement in Southington, CT – Customer Concerned About Roof Meeting Siding

Challenge

We were called out to evaluate this home in Southington Connecticut that needed a new roof. The customer was very concerned however, about where the siding and roof met. They had experienced some issues due to snow and ice buildup in those areas and didn’t want to deal with the headaches and health risks that could potentially be caused by leaking.

Solution

Our trained and highly skilled project manager and crew were able to quickly put those fears to rest. While applying Ice and Water membrane to the roof deck, they also removed siding to wrap the membrane up the walls, thus creating a seamless transition from roof deck to wall sheathing. The homeowners are confident that their roof will protect them and their home for many years down the line.
