Roof Replacement Case Studies: Full Roof Replacement and Siding Repair in Newington Connecticut

Challenge

When called out to look at this home in Newington Connecticut the customers expressed concerns about aluminum siding that had been damaged after years of ice buildup and the wood beneath them due to leaks.

Solution

Fortunately one of our skilled roof inspectors was able to evaluate what would need to be done to remedy the issues while also proving to be cost effective for the homeowners. We removed siding from the two front dormers and a much larger dormer in the rear to apply ice and water barrier up the side walls. Rather than try to salvage the thoroughly damaged aluminum siding, we installed brand new Mastic Vinyl siding that was a perfect match to what was previously on the home. The owners are very happy knowing now that they’re adequately protected from the elements and have a great looking new roof.
